Make It Happen, both the team and customers, worked alongside Wirral Methodist Housing Association and many other partners in the Wilfred Owen commemoration simply by producing a number of hand made poppies and circulating information on the events happening as well as attending some.
The team also created a ‘dream catcher’ which was on display with a number of other local community groups and schools in Birkenhead priory as a gallery for the public.
Over the month of November the team also redesigned the shop display in honour of the centenary of the first world war, and over the weekend of the 11th November when the shop was not open, they shared the items from the display with local businesses and public houses to enable them to display them with honour.
