Our Vibrant Village Mission

Through our past projects such as Nourish to Flourish, and events like our 5th Birthday last year, we have seen there is a passion in the local community for their environment and heritage, and it is through these cornerstones that we see Citizen Stewardship becoming a fulfilling choice for local people, increasing well-being, resilience and life satisfaction and thus their subjective prosperity levels and opportunities for economic stability. By combining both positive individual and communal outcomes we believe there can be a lasting legacy through this work that grows from the roots of Asset Based Community Development into a whole village of Citizen Stewardship here in Birkenhead and a healthy, sustainable local community. This is what Our Vibrant Village project is all about.

What we're up to...

Our Vibrant Village is our Community Living Room. We have a variety of community-led activities, from sewing to cooking, digital skills to arts and crafts, as well as running our Volunteer Development program, CARE as we look to work towards Citizen Stewardship in our community. Who is this aimed at?

Anyone living in our local area over the age of 18 who is looking to learn new things, give back to their community and build up a local network. Anyone interested in volunteering and looking to improve their wellbeing in a safe and welcoming environment.

Free - though we welcome donations of craft materials and clothing for use in sewing sessions etc.
