Welcome to another lovely story from our ESF programme here at Make it Happen!
This is one of our brilliant participants enjoying her first day volunteering at the Hedgehog Haven in Hoylake, feeding and caring for some of its cutest spiky inhabitants. After COVID lockdowns stopped her previous volunteering almost 2 years ago, she came to us hoping for support finding something new to get her back out in the community doing something both fun and rewarding.
Our ESF programme is geared to do exactly that, and we are so happy to have been able to help her on her journey back into volunteering. We hope to bring you more happy stories from our program very soon!
