As part of our Textiles as Treasure project we will be running four one-off Christmas Workshops were we will be getting creative with old textiles and making unique cards, decorations and gifts to spread festive cheer! Come and join us in our brand new space, Place of Contribution. Enjoy a hot drink and meet new people whilst preventing textile waste and creating something to take home with you.
Wednesday 1st December - Xmas Cards & gift tags:
Create festive collages with fabric on cards & gift tags
Thursday 9th December - Fabric Wreaths:
Make your own fabric scrap wreath using an old coat hanger
Tuesday 14th December - Xmas Stockings:
Sew a mini Christmas stockings, great as a decoration or to put gifts inside
Monday 20th December - Last minute Xmas Gift:
Make re-usable face wash pads, a lovely sustainable hand-made gift
The workshops will run between 10am and 4pm on each day (last entry 3pm) we recommend allowing one to two hours for each project. You don’t need to sign up for these sessions, just come along on the day.
